I'm sure most of you know me from the other boards, but for those that don't, I'm big into urban exploring and photography and run the website Lost in Time. Good to be over here.

Yeah, there are going to be multiple updates weekly. It was a lot of work and that's why I haven't been able to tend to LIO so much as of late.

Alright, I'll introduce myself. I am founder of Long Island Oddities and cofounder of this website. I am the sites graphic & web designer, and along with Kevin I do research and write articles. Kevin and myself plan on bringing you a lot of new material every week and we hope to spark some great conversations on this board.
I know Kevin has some amazing articles that are nearing completion and I have some as well. We also have some other wonderous plans in the works to support local history.
I also consider my self an avid urban explorer, and have wandered the halls of my share of abandoned asylums on and off Long Island. In my opinion it is healthy for us all to have a reasonable amount of adventure in our lives.

I look forward to the growth of this new site. I'm a life-long Long Islander (south shore, Suffolk) and have recently developed a great interest in local history.
Good luck!

Love the site! I'm also on the south shore in Suffolk. My whole family loves history and it's been really great finding so much local information here. Thanks!
